Still some numbering conflicts on motive power, so this old geep is still listed as "BN 200"

5D Mark IV??? You cannot be accused of using outdated equipment.
I think I'll hang on to my 5DIII and 7DII for a while.
The War(p) Bonnets had disappeared up here for a quite a while, but I have seen two this past week.
Another great set of photos. Nice work.
You already got a 5d mkIV? Or are you renting it? Sweet camera either way.

I own it, and yes it is a sweet camera
I pre-ordered it locally and had it a day before B&H shipped. Paired with the 100-400II it is a great train combination.

Ordering that soon is putting a lot of trust in Canon but good to hear its working fine, it appears I don't trust the manufacturers as much as you do. I don't know if canon has had problems in the past but Nikon's infamous d600 dust issue is enough for me to think twice.
I was thinking about selling my 5DmkI and my 5DmkIII and getting a 5DmkIV, but I haven't decided what I want to do. I should have sold the 5DmkI a long time ago because it keeps going down in value and I don't think I have ever used it since I got the three...

I know how that goes. I am bad about getting rid of old gear. My 40D, original 7D and 5D2 sit on a shelf collecting dust.
There was a whole heapin helpin pile of power on this very short mixed freight. It was sitting on the main, but broken up into 3 pieces to keep a couple of grade crossings clear. There were also two DPU's at the back end, on a train less than a half mile long. Probably just moving some power around the division.

Never seen this company out here before, but this was on the California Northern, working the old SP West Valley line up near Maxwell California. A GP38-2 I beleive.
