Went out yesterday with a friend and railfanned Scenic Sub. It was incredibly wet!
First up, empty oil cans going into a siding at Baring to pick up an air quality technician riding on a westbound stack train to bring him back over to the east side.

This stack train was holding in Skykomish. This consist was a 4x2. The NS is a GE D8-40CW.

This was a 3x2 train. The other rear DPU was a horribly faded incredibly ugly warbonnet (maybe a fake bonnet, didn't see the numbers).

FYI, the bridge at the 41st St Exit in Everett that goes over the tracks is now open. You can get access to a lot more spots for railfanning and photography and have access to the front of trains going into PA Jct or the eastbound's DPUs.
I'll be going back to Foss River and Scenic when the snow flies.
