Good to see steam down there again. It too bad they can’t cross the bnsf and make that ride longer. Is there still track east of enterprise? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks!
Yes it is still in place, but only used on their "rail bus" trips that have been cancelled for the rest of this season. The track east of Enterprise is more scenic than the side they operate on now

Good shots of the steamer. I have to laugh at BNSF's feeble attempt to create "heritage cars" by slapping a decal on a grain hopper.

BNSF 5032 east rolls along a couple miles north of Enterprise Ks, leading the grain train I shot on July 4th, BNSF 7586 was DPU

Was back at my fav curve just north of Enterprise, for a westbound EGSX coal empty, led by BNSF 8770. DPU's were UP 5800 & BNSF 8423

They usually take it out on Memorial day weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day weekend. They also take it out on the 1st weekend of August, for the local county fair, (but fair was cancelled this year due to Covid-19), and 1st weekend in October for the county heritage festival. But with the pandemic, not sure if that will be held or not
