Im currently in the process of becoming a conductor with CN in western canada, Im originally from Toronto and would like to move back. After completing my training out west is there a chance I can transfer east? or should I just try to get on out east first... west is a little easier.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about CN, and canada in general, but I know most railroads and most companies in general require you to stay in your position for at least a year before applying to transfer locations or a new job in the company. If I had to take a guess I would say they would probably make you stay the 1 year, and probably even longer depending on the company's needs.
