    D&RGW 2-8-0 # 683 sits on dispaly at the Colorado Rail Museum in Golden, Co. Built in October 1890 by Baldwin Locomotive Works as D&RG #583, it was renumbered to D&GRW #683 in 1924, she had a long & successful career before being retired in 1955. #683 is the only surving example...
