    The Siemens Desiro electric multiple unit builds are now being introduced on South West Trains in the UK, operating services from London Waterloo. Two sets, Class 444 No. 444021 and Class 450 No. 450011 are seen at the Siemens Wildenrath test track in Germany on 4 March 2004.

    In the autumn of 2002 Siemens tested the Class 360 Desiro electric multiple unit, built for First Great Eastern in the UK, on its test track at Wildenrath, Germany. On 16 October 2002 the set is seen on the main test loop while being inspected by the railway media and First Great Eastern
