    Manufacturer's Railway 253 Long an all Alco operation, they later switched to EMD units. They had rebuilt one Alco with an EMD engine, the ex208, also known as the "Pergnant 8", became the 253. Shot here in service at Granite City, IL for Tri City Ports.
