When VIA bought the Ren. equippement, they purchased shells, so they made a baggage car out of some of them. This could of easily been a sleeper or a coach... Think of it as a modeler buying a shell for kitbashing except in 1:1 size.
VIA's Ocean (Halifax-Montreal) has just arrived at its final destanation with the relatively new, much hated by railfans, Ren. equippement. From today on this is the only equipement on the train displacing the Budd trainset.
