It is not unusual for the Clavet wayfreight to bring the resident railfan out. No its not me, Elijah or the visiting fan reading Branchline in his car. Last winter one of these guys tripped the Derailment Alarm ~MP 190 Watrous sub, causing at least half an hour worth of delays on the mainline...
Although taken today, this is the same sight one could see 30 years ago in the 1970s. CN 560 is returning home light after completing its daily switching duties on the Watrous sub.
Note the primer door on 4703, the GP38-2 is showing its age.

Power move on the eastbound grain train. The units were: CN 9508, CN 9468, CN 9543 (all GP40-2L(W)'s), CN 4795 (GP38-2(W)), CN 7224 (GP9RM) and CN 271 (S-3 slug).
