CP 5011 SD30C-ECO

Before being re-build, CP 5734 was part of the Moose Jaw deadline which included over 40 SD40-2s in 2009. Sadly he was in the back, so I never got good roster shots despite the unit running often before and after through Saskatoon.

KCS Eco Units in Port Arthur, TX

A typical overcast muggy day in Port Arthur, TX. The local KCS 4:30 pm Port Arthur to Beaumont Yard job approaches the 28th street crossing. Train speed through the area is usually about 10 mph. I live about 1/2 mile away so there is plenty of time to catch a train from my house, I can hear them...

KCS ECO Units in Port Arthur, TX

KCS Eco units on the 4:30pm KCS Port Arthur Yard to Beaumont Yard train. Returns to PA from BMT around 7:30 pm. I live about 1/2 mile on other side of tracks from the crossing in the background. I grew up about a 1/2 mile this side of the tracks from where I am shooting the photo.
