At MP 50 thisloaded grain train was strugling at the top of the grade and still took a while to reach the next MP near West End becauseof the up and downs for the next partof the trip
This is one of the first times in a while (besides a special) that I happenedd to catch. The ACW had brought down a train with these in the consit, then put them in a siding with the 703 (ex GO unit).
Then they down to Aberdeen to do a pick up. It was a hard angle to get a better side view...
A new CSX unit leads a grain train on the Aberdeen Carolina & Western RR. There are a lot of grade crossings that cars/trucks don\'t pay that much attention to. This is one just south of west End NC
Three Aberdeen Carolina & Western units parked where they once could. In the back on the right is the A&R and the Hazmat boxcar. This view was opened up by a CSX derailment, some months back. back.
This is a ACWR mty (CSX) grain train on it's way back to CSX at Aberdeen NC. Seen heading south just past West End NC. The Aberdeen Carolina & Western gets some some verity in it's power from CSX, but this was nice.
