    Here we see Amtrak's Capital limited leaving toledo, ohio at around 130am. i was out there to get just this shot for the contest this month. this would be the rear superliner bringing up the markers and the signal in the shot. warning, lots of red and a few streak effects.

    National Ltd late and getting later

    The eastbound National Limited around 530pm one night in January 1978 at Harrisburg. The steam heat had failed...30 minutes later with a G it was toasty warm again or at least getting that way. Miserable passenger service but a real rail adventure!!
