Retired by AMTRAK in the mid-90s former NH 2014 was briefly in excursion service out of Maine before being sidelined as a parts source for a decade.

Sister NH 2006 shows what the unit looked like earlier in life. Interestingly the Danbury museum also has a NYC painted FL9...
I shot this back in 2006, and finally managed to put it up. Could be in 1996. I would immagine this is the CN 107, but that was about a year before I got my scanner.
2 locos w/ flared radiators, an MRL SD70ACe & an MRL SD45 sit at Laurel yard. The SD45 apears kinda shiney, making it look like it might have gotten washed recently. Most of MRL's SD45's that I see are usualy covered with a nice layer of dirt, soot, ect...
MRL SD35 #702 at Laurel Yard. MRL uses its SD35's in Laurel for yard switching, usualy w/ an RC caboose coupled to them so they can be operated by RC controlers (i'm not quite sure what the advantage of RC switching is over switching w/ someone in the cab; safty, maybe?)
UP/CNW ACe 1995 and CNWs 8701 and 8646 highball through the countryside, passing the Elburn CO-OP. This was most likely my last time seeing the third engine. CNW 8646 was sent to Proviso for it's 92 day inspection, four days after this photo was taken.
