    NKP 765 over Horseshoe Curve Memorial Day Weekend

    Too expensive for my blood when I can just ride Amtrak over the Curve, but I have already gotten my hotel room for an extended stay to photograph it. As a bonus, the circus train should head west through the Altoona area that Tuesday as well.

    Yes it is, but I don't make it out to Cumberland much as it takes me about the same time to driver there (3 hours) as it would to drive to Altoona and Altoona wins on train count. :D
