Yard engines

Found These 2 former GT Units switching the CN (IC) yard last Tuesday. Only saw 1 other engine in the yard.
What a shame, they should be back at Battle Creek getting a well needed rehab. Alas, the yard and shop there are no more.
Take them shots of GT Blue while you can. They are disappearing from the "home" line here in Michigan. Most of their jobs now are locals and yard jobs. Sad to see these old GP-38-2s doing such a lowly task. At least CN is letting them live their life out in their color... for now.

Nice shot. GT Blue and blue sky go together well.

GT Trackside west of Port Huron.
man, they need some paint..but still pulling strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!
