Who said the recession is over?

Strings of well cars stretch out across the CP Tyvan Subdivision from Stoughton Sk to Creelman Sk. Railroads are a good indicator if the economy is on the rise or fall and this photo says it all.
In bad times like these. I don't think the Railroads can't afford anymore Abandonment's.

The cars that were on the siding at MeHarry all summer were pulled out this past month. The Togo Subdivision here in Manitoba.

Similar scene on the Aberdeen sub (CN PNL) at Warman.

This rail line is on the chopping block but everytime we pass this line heading to regina there is always grain cars spot along the line at Creelman Fillmore francis osage etc. I wonder where the farmers take there grain to since the elevators at Stoughton can not be served with all these cars sitting there.

Up north the nearest elevator is in PA at white star or north battleford. With the meadow lake line gone farmers have to drive hours to the nearest grain site. However in Rabbit Lake Pioneer still ueses the elevator but instead of trains they transport the grain themselves.
