UP and NW

UP 3679 and NW 6078 lead a freight through the Columbia River Gorge near The Dalles on 10-12-84. I was looking for DDA40Xs but didn't see any on this day.
Thanks Dan. The only thing that hasn't change in the Gorge is the scenery. I envy you having that in your backyard. I hope you don't take it for granted.
 
I like photos like this for some of the old railcars in them, sometimes moreso than the power. The first car on this train is an example.
