Steam train at Rio Acima

Steam train at Rio Acima

A new steam train will be on rails next month here in Minas Gerais state. It will use the old EFCB abandonned line in Rio Acima, MG. The locomotive is a Oretein & Koppel 0-6-0.
Are those restored cars or new ones made to look old? They look like they have been varnished rather than painted. Very interesting from this angle.
Hi Greg,
The cars frame and trucks are very old, but the wooden part are new. Note they did it a bit square, not round like the original ones. Look the new pictures I posted here to see the dates of each one written on the bearing journals.
