A pleasant surprise from the east, heading west through the gorge.

This one came out very high in the mids and almost too saturated. Odd. Fought it in editing. Desaturated and lightened. Thoughts? Lighten it more? Add contrast back in? (lowered it)
Wow. Thanks guys. Not needing more contrast? I am surprised.

Very nice Leia, there are few places in the USA that can match the scenery of the Gorge. I've been following your photos as of late and you do a very good job. I see you have a good understanding of the importance of post-processing of digital photos.

I hope you don't mind, but I downloaded the above photo to see what I could do with it in Photoshop. I made some minor changes in the contrast, color saturation, and sharpness....to "my" tastes...which really means nothing except to me. If you've ever looked at my images, you know I love Velvia level color, esp. knock your eyes out blue skies. :) And I've been told that I sometimes over sharpen my photos, but that's what I like.

Out of respect I won't post my version of your photo, but if you'd like, I can send you a copy. You may think it looks like crap...what I see on my monitor may be totally different than what you see on your monitor.

Keep up the great work!
