Grab Shots

The Grand Elk GDLK-303 southbound through Martin MI.

I had parked to wait for the train and began to notice a rich blue sky in the darkness. The wind was gusting and kicking up the snow so setting up outside was out.

I could hear their horn approaching as I decided to shoot anyway. I set the tripod up with one leg in the pocket on the car door, one leg on the floor and one on the seat between my legs. The wind died down just before they came into view.
