CSX Marine Division in Port Huron, Michigan

CSX Marine Division in Port Huron, Michigan

In the summer of 2004, some mariners and fishermen on the St. Clair River were treated to CSXs modified GP-15T Aquaswitcher. CSX corporate management had been dabbling in gaining a foothold in some of the Great Lakes shipping revenue for some time. The crews advised that the train handled well, though they were a bit discouraged that the engineer forgot the clamp on down riggers and the bait back at the station.

Edited with Paintshop Pro and taken with Nikon 4500 digital.
