Coal meets Stacks at MP 10

BNSF 9943 leads a north bound Coal train past waiting Stacks, on an un-naturaly sunny Febuary afternoon.
Excellent composition and perspective. Looks like your sky got bit by a wide angle polarizer, eh? ;)

Somebody using "gradient" in Photoshop? Looks like comic book color almost.

Yes Swami, you nailed it. Circular Polarizer. Hence the color saturation.
As for "Comic book" colors, Sam, no worse than any good E6 film.(aka Fuji Velvia, Kodak E100vs etc.) Photoshop was only used to convert it to jpeg for posting, and sharpening was applied to make up for the short commings of my Camera system. No further rmanipulation wwas done, or needed....
