BCR at Seton Lake

Southbound British Columbia Railway train has left Lillooet BC with 2 GE Dash 8 40CM's on the head end & a 3rd running remote mid train & for the better part of the next two hours will thread it's way along the 30 miles of shear cliffs along Seton & Anderson Lakes. At the south end of Anderson Lake a 4 unit helper set of Dash 2's will be added for the next 46 miles of undulating grades of 2.2%
> Is that the true color of the lake?

I'll bet that it is. Glacial fed lakes have a unique color due to very fine ground up rock in the water. It's a light blue/green/emerald shade, depending on the lighting.

Also note the dark blue in the mid-train unit and the dark green in the BC Rail boxcar next to it. Both of those colors look to be spot on.

Yes, this exactly what the eye sees. The place is a bit of a maintenance nightmare however. Pilot trucks are dispatched ahead of all trains however several years ago a slide came down after the pilot truck had passed & two units went into the lake. The location can be seen on the right side of the picture.
