We've had some hot weather the last few days and it is starting to turn. Probably a week or so and it will be gone to next winter.
Enjoy the green while you can. I do not miss Sacramento summers.
I am. I could never live up that way either. I will take my bay area micro climate any day
Haha! Glad you enjoy. Hard to believe that location is 20 minutes from downtown Oakland

It's not uncommon though. The weekend UPS trains tend to be very short, yet they always have a consist of four or five locos. I guess they are ferrying them to Richmond yard for the out bounds from there and the port of Oakland.

Unusual. Normally the empties head eastbound. Must have been running short at the Port of Oakland

Always cool to see units wearing their original paint. Even more interesting here but I couldn't get a decent shot of it, is the SD60M with its white nose.
