I thought I've seen a lot of junk at the scrap yard, but this one is still working! I think its still used in Revenue service, thus isn't even MOW! Judging by the freshly applied rpeorting marks (now visible well here), it and about a dozen hoppers just like it, will be rolling for a long time...
Caught him a while back. Sorry that the photo is so small, had I known such small cars existed (it's a cut-down hopper), I would of zoomed in more then I ussually do. He caught me completely off-guard, right between regular stuff.

Birds often eat near hoppers and fly away when I or a Geep approaches. However this guy decided to stay, as I zoomed in on the logo of this rare Family Lines hopper.

As the RRF hopper passes through the Pinawa/Whiteshell provincial park, a rabbit wonders what's happening, as he has never seen a train before.
The only thing that the 3 pictures put together have in common, is they were shot within 60 miles of Winnipeg.
This is at the end of the tail track in the BNSF Yard at Longview, TX. This car is only 3 feet from ending up in the middle of an intersection of a busy thoroughfare.
