Amtrak train #20, The Crescent, has just entered the double track at Bristow, Virginia on the NS Washington Sub. About 30 miles ahead, she'll hit the interlocking at AF Tower in Alexandria for the final leg to NYC on CSX rails. #20 departs New Orleans daily at 7:20am and is normally about 26 hours into her scheduled trip time of 30 hours when passing through Bristow.
