The face seems familiar; must have seen him somewhere. Was it color photo? Posted on this forum? His name just seats in the back of my tongue... B... B... Bob? It just couldn't be! Or is it? Our beloved administrator? Wow!!!

Yep - that's him. He and I occasionally work together on the Ballard Terminal Railroad, which is how we became acquainted. The photo was taken in the cab of the Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad's 2-8-2T during one of last Saturday's excursions. I got to see how much more is involved in running a steam engine than the EMD SW-1 we use in Ballard!

It was a good color photo, but I thought it was better converted to 8-bit grayscale.

Interesting to know that Bob's face is recognized half-way around the world!

Yeah, and he seemed to know what he was doing!!! There's sure a whole lot more to it than the SW-1 we run in Ballard.
