The platform canopies provide little shelter to any de-training passengers as a summer storm lashes Sydney Terminal on 14 February 1984. This scene shows two country mail trains at their final destination, after overnight runs from the bush. This scene was one of many I took on a short back-packing holiday just prior to my last year of university, after I has myself just arrived from Broken Hill on first the Silver City Comet and then the Western Mail.
