SP&S 700 pulling the Tualatin Valley Steam special in 1998 through Beaverton, Oregon. It was still pretty moist and cool there, (while Hillsboro was all in sun and quite warm,) and the steam and smoke was melding very nicely. The smell of cinders was ever present, which, if you've ever been behind 700, you learn quickly is her answer to Chanel No 5.
