This was my work station on 011103. It is the BNSF 7320, a former CN SD40 that was rebuilt and is now working for the BNSF. The wideangle lens on my digital couldn't fit all of the cab in one picture so this is all you get to see.
I like the view out of the front. I'd almost do anything to ride in the cab.

I've seen the footrest in action...every so often I'll see a local sitting annndd waiting, and Mr.Engineer is kicked back resting his eyes.
Looks like such a hard job.
 
The picture was taken by the Willbridge yard office in Portland, Or. We were on hold while our train, the MLYDINB was getting airtested.

Just what kind of a rebuild did these ex-CN's get? Why didn't BNSF get more of them?
