Strive for something different

I'll give this a try...

I think this meets the guidelines... And if not... Well, the moderators will need to remove it, no feelings hurt...

Here's my entry...

I'm not one to shoot the common train shot...

This old fella' was a real story teller, and I enjoyed listening to his tales... My office in those days was near the Amtrak station and I would occassionally go down there and eat lunch and watch the trains go by, but this time, I just happened to have a camera with me... My grandfather used to take me here when I was a whee little fella'... Anyway, this fella used to work on the passenger trains as a porter I believe, and he would hang out down at the station remembering life of his younger years... The Amtrak would come in, he would hobble over closer to the tracks almost as if it was "his calling", look up and down the platform as passengers detrained and climbed aboard...

It's an old scan, from slide, posted before over on Railroad.net... Probably shot with Nikon FE 50mm Nikor lense... I was shooting Koda64 mostly back then... My scanner isn't too good on slides, so the quality isn't as good as it should be...
