Southern Pacific Bayshore Roundhouse

This roundhouse boasted 16 stalls. This is another pic of the SP Bayshore Roundhouse taken from the south end of the old SP Bayshore Rail Yard. The roundhouse was built in about 1911-12 and was closed in 1982. There are dreams and hopes of restoring it into a railroad museum...with track close by for visiting locomotives!
