I was train watching then, but didn't know what I was watching. I wonder if I saw those? They were often on the beat trains in the Central Valley and I remember those trains. Often they would have a hood unit and an F7a for power. Thanks for sharing the picture. It is a good example of Espee's eclectic units running at that time.
