How long did Amtrak have these? They are very intresting.

139 GG-1's were built for the PRR from 1934 to 1943. They had 4620 HP. GG-1's were PRR, PC, CR, a few to NJT and 40 to Amtrak. All were retired by 1983. This photo was built as PRR # 4908, turned over to Amtrak as # 909 and then # 4909.
