Didn't last long

On October 9, 1999, the southbound Swift RoadRailer departs Grass Lake, California with a nice looking leased SD40 on the point. Today, the RoadRailer is over on BNSF, and the SD40 is all but gone on the Shasta Route.

Yes, indeed. Gitzo G320 with an NPC ball head. The French may not fight worth a bleep, but they sure make a good tripod!

My setup scares the hell out of people in urban areas. If I see any suspicious characters, I start swinging the Gitzo around like I'm Barry Bonds in the on-deck circle.
