Waiting for the train

Ljubljana Moste April 16th, 2005 at 07.28 a.m.
Helga - thus nicknamed by Slovenian railroaders but otherwise multi-system (15 & 25 kV AC, 1.5 & 3 kV DC) 6,800 kW (9,200 hp) Siemens Dispolok and two switchmen wait for her train to be delivered on her track by yard goat from the nearby intermodal terminal (understandably the terminal has not catenary and therefore it is off limits for motors). As soon as the cars will be coupled to her and the brake test made, she will take them to the port of Koper 80 miles away and the small receiving/dispatch yard, quite busy through the night (20 plus trains arriving each night), will sink into deserved morning sleep.
Wow, your use of sky, track and personnel add so much to the photo. It shows a well thought-out shot.

2 for now, should be joiend by two more in May - all are rented while SZ waits for delivery of 20 Siemens multisystem Tauruses
