Knott's owns 2 D&RG steam engines, these I believe are the only Narrow Gauge steam in operation at least in the USA. They run this one on the weekends and the Goose on the w/d. She was sitting today but all fired up, I hoped they might run it but they didn't :-(

No, not at all... Plenty of NG steam left, including portions of the original line that these ran on. East Broad Top, Durango & Silverton and Cumbres & Toltec are the three that come to mind first, but there are plenty more too.
