Pere Marquette 1225

Pere Marquette # 1225 is fired up for the Steam Railraoding Institute's Open House in Owosso, Michigan. This event is the first one and will end on June 13th, 2004. The SRI is part of the Michigan State Trust for Railway Preservation and they operate and maintain the PM 1225.

See my other photos on PM 1225 and see it going somewhere. Usually it has 2 excursions a year. Michigan State Trust for Railway Preservation (MSTRP) is currently building this Museum and Shop facility in Owosso. The 0-4-0 was giving rides on their track that has been completed withing the grounds of the Steam Railroading Institute (part of MSTRP).
