Vintgar Bridge

Train 53300, a Nova Gorica - Jesenice local job - truly not much of it, only with SZ version of caboose and one pulpwood-loaded gondola in tow behind "Reagan", crosses Vintgar Canyon viaduct over Radovna River. 200' long and almost 150' above water level, it leads directly into 3.100' long tunnel. As you see, the autumn is at its finest these days, but in week or so the leaves will fall and the splendor will be all gone.

I thought it was a model at fist... just beautiful~! I Like The MLW/ALCO too!

Superb shot.
If you look closer you'll see it is not an ALCO (never had any on SZ) but EMD G26HCW-2 export locomotive build by Djuro Djakovic under EMD licence.
