Boarded up caboose

Caught him on a Portage la Prairie local on June 6th, 2005 in a very intersting consist:
CP 3106 (GP38-2 aka town switcher)
two 60' Simplot reefers
one Procor tanker, white colored
and this amazing caboose, all boarded up!

I've seen the local a couple times before, but never with a caboose.

The reason I'm posting this, is if someone wants to model it. I personally don't, because it's too much like the standard CP caboose.
This local must have a good sized back-up move....some crews when they have a back-up move will request a "rider car" such as this boarded up caboose so they dont have to hang off the sides of a car while backing up.....ive heard some crews will refuse to work if they have a backup move and no rider car.

You got it right, the local does have a good back-up move to the Simplot plant just outside of town I believe. I didn't see the rider car last time though, they just rode on the cars.

Thanks Cal, but I've already seen 15 CP cabooses in my life, 9 of which were multimark yellow. This was the only one, besides two MOW cabooses, in active service though.
