Charging out of Caliente

Espee had a 14-hour MoW window over Tehachapi; which caused ATSF to run as many trains out of the valley before the MoW had the entire rr to itself.
Good catch with the SD45. The majority of the time Santa Fe ran only 4-axle units in the SPSF paint here in east/se Texas.
 
YES!! those were the days when real CLASSIC diesels ran the rails!!
