It seems that all that is left of Cromartie's Barber Shop is the sign. The recently removed grade crossing (behind the orange barrels) is evidence of more change in Hamlet.

Nice photos. Do you drive a white SUV? I was at Hamlet and saw this train down by the crossing at the bridge. I also saw those other trains but earlier on the way down to Hamlet.They stopped that CSX train with the 3 units just before the gates at Hoffman just past that other CSX grain train which may have been for the ACWR.

Yeah, that was me. I usually get down to Hamlet once every couple of months. Do you go there much? Maybe we can meet up sometime.
