Caliente in Bloom

ON a trip to the area in March 2003, I was blown away. After weeks of rain, the area was in full bloom. Grass was green, the sky was a bright blue, and the flowers were blooming everywhere, no more effident than at Caliente, taken from tunnel 1, as a BNSF intermodel heads west. 10 months out of the year, a photo like this would not even have made it to my website, let alone been shared with anyone.
