BNSF Double Stack Train

A BNSF container train heads southbound at MP27.65 Thomsen Road on the Seattle Sub. The Train was stopped at Nisqually due to a Amtrak Cascade. He went by my location throttle wide open.

Pretty typical for the dispatcher, stop a slower train for a high speed talgo/Amtrak Cascade. Nice shot

I believe that it was Al Krug who said, "God bless the '40's" (or something like that). It looks like an SD40 in the lead here. Btw, whatever happened to Al?

Awesome. Love the heat distortion above the locos. And regardless of paint scheme, three SD40-2's on a stack train is a superb.
