In the railfan community Schenectady, NY is known as the ALCO factory. This is the place where in 1887 Thomas Edison moved his Machine Works, eventually becoming the headquarters of General Electric. It is also home to a graveyard of Turboliners, with four RTL sets rusting in the middle of a field.
After 20 years of service the RTLs were showing their age and needed to be rebuild. Super Steel got the contract, turning out three train sets before a lawsuit hauled the project in 2004. The rebuild RTLs were operating until 2003 when the fleet was grounded due to numerous problems.
All 13 Turboliner trainsets are now stored across the country, in various stages of decay.
Compare the partially rebuild power car to the weather-beaten 2139 next to it. Apparently it was not there two years ago, as it should have been in the background of this Wikipedia picture:

Maybe it was moved for a perspective buyer who expressed interest in these 70s relics. The whole fleet is currently offered for sale by AMTRAK.
