I know this photo isn't the best, but I took a picture of this locomotive in Lawrenceville, Georgia at the TDSI facility along the CSX Abbeville subdivision. I have been told by someone that it might be a Genset of some sorts, but if anyone can find what company it belongs to, that would be wonderful.
Looks like a Railpower technologies genset.
Alright, after some sleuthing online, I found it. That is a Railpower GG20B genset, originally bought by the Bechtel corporation. Loco ID was RPRX 2000. Now owned by S&S Sales and Leasing as SSRX 2000.

Wow! Good detective work.
It's not a genset, as such, it's a hybrid i.e. the traction power comes solely from the battery pack, which is in turn recharged by the generator. In a genset, the generator/s supply the traction power directly. There is no battery pack involved.
