With all filming sequences for the movie "Tough Guys" completed in Southern Pacific's Taylor Yard facility, #4449 and her short train are ready to head east down the State Street Line in 1986.
The engine terminal in Galesburg is packed with engines as night falls over the yard, and the lights begin to come on. Included in the mix of engines is the former BN 7149, and various UP, BNSF, and NS power.
How unusual is it to see 5 cabooses all together outside of a museum or a tourist RR setting. As you can probably guess by the couch in the foreground, this isn't the best setting by far - a converted landfill, i.e. garbage hill. These cabooses along with various work equipement, mostly bunk...

Here is two GP38 series (one a regular GP38 and the other is a GP38-2) at BNSF's Hauser Yard. These two units were to be set-out into one of the fueling tracks..
2 locos w/ flared radiators, an MRL SD70ACe & an MRL SD45 sit at Laurel yard. The SD45 apears kinda shiney, making it look like it might have gotten washed recently. Most of MRL's SD45's that I see are usualy covered with a nice layer of dirt, soot, ect...
MRL SD35 #702 at Laurel Yard. MRL uses its SD35's in Laurel for yard switching, usualy w/ an RC caboose coupled to them so they can be operated by RC controlers (i'm not quite sure what the advantage of RC switching is over switching w/ someone in the cab; safty, maybe?)
