UP/CNW ACe 1995 and CNWs 8701 and 8646 highball through the countryside, passing the Elburn CO-OP. This was most likely my last time seeing the third engine. CNW 8646 was sent to Proviso for it's 92 day inspection, four days after this photo was taken.
A very late JC (Janesville to Chicago) train has just passed Rondout Tower on the CP/Metra NW line. Normally this train would pass through around midnight. Power for the days train is SD40-2 4008, SD20 2056, SD20 2053, and SD40-2 4052.
