Dr. Otha Spencer wrote about this train in his new book "That Lonesome Whistle". Spencer a retired Journalism Professor wrote about the History of the Cotton Belt in Commerce, TEXAS.
Interesting shot, you see a lot more photos of Cosnino from the South Side of the tracks than the North Side. The late Spring and Early Summer are about the only time you can get decent light on the North Side at this location.
