    -A late Amtrak 6 on Feb 1st at Oreapolis NE Note the Amtrak California car behind the power. -A CITX as DPU at Louisville NE the same day. -Some trackside time in Fremont NE on Feb 2nd. Both pictured trains talked with the DS about PTC issues they were getting at this point on the RR.

    Went in search of the Spirit of Union Pacific (UP1943) this morning but wasn't able to find it, so I made a quick tip to BNSF's Creston Sub at Oreapolis. Caught loads headed east and empties going west.

    A bit of fall color in these shots from today near Firth NE. They're not as sharp as I wanted, the result of some nasty winds that gusted as I shot.

    Just South Of Council Bluffs IA

    The BNSF Council Bluffs Sub isn't the busiest line around the area, so when I noticed a NB train from my SB travel in I-29, I took the next available exit and went after a suitable place to grab a shot or two.

    Anyone have a front photo of*an IHC 0-4-0 southern 27?*
